This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and organised individual with strong bookkeeping experience and a solid understanding of accounting systems.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out day-to-day bookkeeping duties across a varied client portfolioProcessing financial transactions using accounting softwareCompleting bank reconciliationsPreparing and submitting VAT returnsHandling bookkeeping-related queriesPerforming general bookkeeping and administrative tasksLiaising with clients and HMRC as requiredRequirementsExperience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage Cloud, and/or Sage 50 (preferred)Strong understanding of core bookkeeping principlesExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to manage workload independently and meet deadlinesConfident communication skillsDesirable ExperiencePrevious experience within an accountancy practice is advantageousCandidates with a strong finance or bookkeeping background in industry will also be considered
