Overview

We are looking an Application Support Analyst with 3 to 5 years proven track of working in Test environment ensuring all applications are being fully supported in Test/ Non production mode. 5+ years of experience in Test/ Non production deployment management experience. This role is to support and execute deployments in non-prod environments.Responsibilities

Work in a complex, multi-stream application environmentDeploy builds into non production environmentsWork closely with Development and Release Management to solve complex Build/Deployment processes throughout all phases of the softwareEnsure all changes fall within application maintenance windowsCreate builds (Hotfix and/or full EAR) using information provided by development teams and use for deployment across environmentsIdentify processes in need of automation or scriptingBuild and maintain automatic deployment scriptsCoordinate with Configuration Management, DBAs, Customer Infra teams and Application Development teams as part of deployment executionUnderstand deployment release notes and create handover release notes to production deployment teamsManage configuration versions for different development streams in versioning and revision control systemsTroubleshoot deployment related issues and collaborate with development, application and infrastructure teams to resolve themUnderstand open/distributed systems and Agile frameworkAwareness of ITIL frameworkDeliver results under pressureGood written and verbal communication skillsMain Skills

Good working knowledge of distributed technologiesExperience deploying applications in complex, multi-stream environmentsExperience deploying Java/J2EE based applicationsExperience deploying middleware components such as IHS, IIS, WebMethods and WASDeployments of core applications and middleware layersITIL framework awareness or certificationUnderstanding of Oracle and MS-SQL DBs and experience creating and running deployment scripts, data extraction and data insertionStrong Unix/Linux OS knowledgeProficient in deployment of applications in .NET and Java using Jenkins, Maven and SVNExperience with middleware deployments like WAS, IBM HTTP Server (IHS), MQ and WebMethodsExperience running DB scripts (Oracle and MS SQL)Tools
