Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Cardiff (Hybrid - 50% Office / 50% Remote)

Salary: Circa -70,000 to -90,000 + 10% bonus

The Opportunity

Are you a technically versatile problem-solver, passionate about cloud infrastructure and automation? We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join an enterprise scale cloud services provider in Cardiff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior / lead engineer to deepen their expertise in multi-cloud environments (Azure & AWS), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerisation. You will also lead and mentor more junior engineers within a collaborative culture that prioritizes innovation-including early-stage projects in Generative AI.

What You''ll Bring

• Strong experience managing public cloud services across Azure or AWS at enterprise scale
• Terraform and IAC experience for infrastructure provisioning
• Experience leading and mentoring junior DevOps Engineers
• Technical leadership / responsibility for delivery
• Broad experience across Cloud, Infrastructure, Development, Delivery
• GitLab for CI/CD workflows.
• Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of cloud networking, DNS, and secure VPN configurations.
• Must be eligible for SC Clearance - 5 years in the UK, no criminal record etc
• Growth Mindset: A desire to stay at the forefront of cloud tech, including Serverless (Functions/Logic Apps) and AI.
