Location: Chelmsford, Essex Salary: 26,298.11 per annum Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week Working Pattern: 7-day rolling rota, including evenings and one weekend in every two About the Role We are recruiting for a Support Worker to join a specialist support service in Chelmsford. The role involves providing practical, emotional and social support to adults with enduring mental health needs, helping individuals work towards greater independence and achieve their personal recovery goals. You will work alongside clients to identify their goals, develop resilience and practical life skills, maintain their accommodation and access appropriate services and opportunities within the community. The role also involves working with individuals with complex needs and dual diagnosis, where required. You will be expected to work across different services and locations, building positive relationships with clients, colleagues and external professionals. About You We are looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable and able to build positive, professional relationships with people from a range of backgrounds. Ideally, you will have experience of working with adults with enduring mental health needs or within a similar support setting. Experience of working with people with complex needs, dual diagnosis or supporting individuals towards greater independence would be advantageous.
