Key Responsibilities:Support the auto electricians in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of commercial vehicles, including lighting, wiring, sensors, and battery systems.Assist in the installation of new electrical components and the replacement of damaged or outdated parts, such as alternators, starters, and fuses.Help in conducting diagnostic tests using specialised equipment to detect electrical issues and ensure systems are operating efficiently.Assist in the inspection, installation, and repair of wiring and circuitry, ensuring that all connections are secure and compliant with safety standards.Help perform safety checks on electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.Qualifications and Requirements:Previous experience or interest in automotive or electrical work is preferred but not required.
