What you''ll be doing
o -Design solutions in conjunction with manufacturers and consultants.
o -Create and verify EC&I documentation
- Specifications/Schedules
- Reports and Plans
- Detailed installation drawings
o -Review and check vendor document / information for compliance with project-
specifications.
o -Support the Engineering Manager and contribute to design / construction-
reviews.
o -Ensure design risks are considered and prepare design risk assessments.-
Communicate residual design risks to others.
o -Provide strong technical support and identify innovative and robust solutions.
o -Develop and maintain relationships with relevant technical consultants and-
suppliers, managing their input in the design, development, pricing and delivery-
of technical solutions.
o -Maintain personal expertise and knowledge to ensure that the business stream is-
at the forefront of the industry both technically and in using the latest-
technologies and standards.
o -Mentoring and training younger engineers within the team.

Who we''re looking for
o -Clear focus on collaboration and building relationships with other designers and-
Project teams to deliver cost effective and acceptable design solutions
o -Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and write clearly and succinctly
o -Promote innovation and continuous improvement in design.
o -Excellent IT Skills are desirable and Microsoft Office is essential.-
o -Detailed knowledge of codes of practice and other regulatory material.
