Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Social Worker to join Essex County Council''s Adult Social Care Centralised Safeguarding Triage Team.This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an innovative service, supporting the triage and management of new safeguarding concerns and ensuring effective decision-making in line with the Care Act.Senior Social Worker - Centralised Safeguarding TriageLocation: Chelmsford, Essex (CM1 1QH)Pay Rate: 233 PAYE / 299 Umbrella per dayContract: Temporary, Full-TimeDuration: Until 31st March 2027 (estimated)Working Arrangement: Predominantly home-based, with office attendance every Wednesday.Key Responsibilities:Triage and manage new adult safeguarding referrals.Apply Care Act thresholds and support appropriate safeguarding decisions.Assess complex cases and identify and mitigate risks.Support effective decision-making around Section 42 enquiries.Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across Essex.Provide specialist safeguarding advice and guidance.Requirements:Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.Minimum 3 years'' post-qualification experience.Strong knowledge of the Care Act and adult safeguarding.Experience managing complex cases and high-risk situations.Excellent assessment, decision-making and communication skills.Driving licence and access to a car, or alternative means of meeting mobility requirements.Benefits of Working with Eden Brown Synergy:DBS check processed ..... full job details .....
