Our Client, a leading engineering and design consultancy, is seeking a Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Belfast. Experience Required for Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor: - A Cost Management or Quantity Surveying Qualification or similar. - Minimum of three years post graduate experience. - Commercial, quantity surveying, and/or finance skills, with working knowledge of the construction industry, and experience of working with NEC form of contract. - Technical experience in Cost Management services across complex infrastructure. - An understanding of industry benchmarks / best practices, Cost and Work Breakdown Structures, and methods of measurements. - Growing network within the infrastructure sector. - An aptitude to apply innovation, technical excellence, and exceptional service delivery. - Experience of monitoring, analysing, and controlling cost performance against set targets. - Examples of identifying/applying cost efficient solutions. - Awareness of the challenges and opportunities in the industry. - Awareness of performance measurement of projects using Earned Value Management (EVM) and similar techniques. Job Responsibilities: - Reporting into the Head of Cost Management leadership team, you will be a member of the Project Controls management team responsible for building long term, sustainable team relationships with both members of our own organisation, and wider Client base. - Support our Cost Management capability including development and use
