Science Teacher
Start date: 1st September 2026 End date: October half-term initially (possibility to extend) Full-time role: Monday-Friday Teaching all sciences at KS3 and KS4 We are working in partnership with an Ofsted ''Good'' 11-18 secondary school in Hinckley who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher. This is a full-time job to start as soon as possible to provide long-term temporary cover. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking. Job Description Delivering engaging and creative Science lessons. Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback. Contributing to the development of the department''s curriculum. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT''s welcome to apply. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one. Recent experience teaching Science at secondary school level (KS3 and KS4) Strong behaviour/classroom management.
