We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Housing Options and Homeless Prevention Officer to join a dynamic Housing Solutions team. In this high-impact role, you''ll provide expert housing advice, lead on complex homelessness prevention cases, and contribute to the strategic delivery of homelessness and move-on services. You will take a lead role in decision-making, cross-departmental initiatives, and managing complex casework, with a strong focus on statutory duties under the Housing Act 1996 Parts VI and VII.You''ll be a visible and effective senior figure within the team, working collaboratively with colleagues across departments including Social Care, Allocations, and external partners. From attending safeguarding panels to supporting out-of-hours emergency responses, you will be at the forefront of helping those at risk of homelessness access the support and housing they need.
