Are you an experienced HV Project Engineer who enjoys seeing complex projects come to life?
This is a great opportunity to join TriConnex and play an important part in delivering the electrical infrastructure that helps power new homes, communities and developments. We are looking for candidates who bring technical expertise, a practical approach and collaborative style to help deliver safe, high-quality HV and LV projects from planning through to energisation and handover. The role will involve nationwide travel to project sites as required.
You will:
- Take ownership of HV/LV electrical projects, helping to turn technical requirements into successful, well-managed delivery.
- Provide trusted engineering support to design and operational teams, offering practical solutions when challenges arise.
- Review drawings, specifications and project information to make sure works are safe, compliant and delivered to the right standard.
- Build positive working relationships with customers, contractors, DNOs/IDNOs and internal teams to keep projects moving smoothly.
- Champion safety, quality and continuous improvement, making sure every project is delivered with care and attention to detail.
In your first six months, you will have built strong relationships across the Operations team, gained confidence in TriConnex processes and standards, and made a meaningful contribution to the safe, smooth and timely delivery of live electrical projects.
The Person-
We are looking for someone who is technically confident, organised and can work well with others. You will bring a positive, proactive approach and the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers and contractors.
- Experience in high voltage, low voltage, power distribution, utilities, ICP, IDNO or electrical infrastructure environments.
- A good understanding of electrical drawings, technical specifications, project delivery processes and safety requirements.
- A relevant electrical qualification, such as HNC/HND, degree, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to support and influence colleagues, customers and contractors.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset, with a genuine commitment to safety, quality, teamwork and continuous improvement.
