Role: Concrete Plant Operative Location: Holcim, Tilbury Docks RM18 7EH Rate: £14.00 per hour Hours: Standard hours are Monday - Friday 7am-6pm with a 30mins unpaid lunch and overtime available. However, It''s an on demand job driven by customer needs, once on site a rotation will be put in place with the team, some days you may start earlier, some later. Flexibility is needed. Contract length: 1-2 year contract with the potential to go permanent Start: ASAP Responsibilities: Manage the automated and mechanical production of concrete. Inspect and monitor inventory levels for cement, aggregates Conduct pre-shift walkarounds, routine machinery calibrations, minor repairs, and cleaning of belts, silos, and mixers Program and monitor approved mix designs into computer-controlled plant systems to ensure precise measurement and consistency.
