The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team.Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts for fee earners and business servicesCollaborate with senior stakeholders to guide them through budgeting and forecasting processesDevelop and maintain financial models for planning and analysisProvide variance analysis and commentary on actuals vs. budget/forecastAssist with monthly and quarterly management reportingContribute to the improvement of FPandA processes and systemsSupport ad hoc financial analysis and projectsThere will be a secondary focus on management accounting. This will involve supporting the wider management accounts team as required in the preparation of the quarterly accounts as well as reporting to departments on their performance to date and outlook for the futureThe Candidate

The ideal candidate for the Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst position will possess the following qualifications and skills.Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with law firm finance experienceStrong analytical and Excel modelling skillsConfident in communicating with senior stakeholders independentlyExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesStrong attention to detail and ability to analyse financial dataIndependent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesPrior FPandA experience in a professional services firm is a plusOur benefits include, an annual bonus scheme, GPP Pension Scheme with Aviva.
