We are a UK-based global charity with a vision to make the world a healthier and happier place. Our free 5k and 2k events take place every weekend, and are led by groups of dedicated local volunteers, with around 400,000 people taking part around the world each week. As the Head of Governance, you will provide strategic leadership on parkrun''s ''licence to run'' - that is, ensuring the organisation has effective systems, procedures and controls for compliance with laws, regulations and standards in the jurisdictions in which parkrun operates. You will advise on appropriate governance structures and ensure that they are operating effectively, including overseeing international Board appointments.
