Fire Suppression and Sprinkler Engineer Location: East and Southwest London Position: Full-Time Overview My client is seeking an experienced Fire Suppression and Sprinkler Engineer to carry out the servicing, maintenance, testing, fault diagnosis, and repair of fire sprinkler and suppression systems across a portfolio of residential developments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all systems remain fully operational, compliant, and effective in protecting residents and property. Key Responsibilities Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM), routine servicing, and inspections of fire sprinkler and suppression systems across multiple residential sites. Inspect, test, maintain, and repair sprinkler heads, control valves, pumps, flow switches, pipework, and associated equipment. Diagnose and rectify system faults, leaks, pressure issues, and equipment failures, ensuring swift and safe resolution. Respond to reactive maintenance requests and emergency call-outs, including damaged sprinkler heads, water leaks, and system failures. Perform routine operational testing of sprinkler pumps, control valves, alarm interfaces, and water supply systems. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant British Standards, fire safety legislation, manufacturer recommendations, and company procedures.
