We are working in partnership with a highly regarded luxury care provider to recruit an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse for their new nursing home in Harrogate.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established provider at an exciting stage of development, taking a key role in establishing and maintaining high clinical standards within a new, purpose-built luxury care environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Home Manager and wider leadership team, providing clinical leadership, supporting the nursing team and ensuring residents receive consistently high standards of safe, person-centred care.

The Role

As Clinical Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical practice within the home, promoting best practice and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing effective clinical leadership and support to the nursing and care teams.
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
• Supporting the development, implementation and review of individual care plans.
• Maintaining high standards of clinical governance, documentation and record keeping.
• Leading clinical audits, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement.
• Ensuring safe medication management and clinical practice.
• Supporting the management of complex clinical needs and ensuring appropriate clinical interventions.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing nursing colleagues.
• Ensuring compliance with CQC requirements, safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation.
• Working collaboratively with residents, relatives and external healthcare professionals.
• Supporting the Home Manager in maintaining a positive and well-led clinical environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking to speak with an experienced Registered Nurse who has a strong clinical background and the confidence to lead and support a nursing team.

You will ideally have:

• Current NMC registration (RGN or RMN).
• Previous experience within a nursing home environment.
• Experience in a senior nursing or clinical leadership position.
• A good understanding of CQC regulations and clinical governance.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A genuine commitment to delivering high standards of resident care.
