Our OEM Client based in Gaydon is searching for a Senior Buyer to join their team. This is a maternity cover contract position on an Inside IR35 basis with a proposed end date of 26th September 2027.Umbrella Pay Rate: £40.44 per hour.The Opportunity:This is an exciting opportunity to join the Raw Materials procurement organisation.Reporting to Procurement Manager, you will be working as a Senior Buyer in the Raw Materials team that have Global responsibility for the company s Interior Surface Materials.You will utilise your experience to analyse, understand and predict the economic and political outlook for these commodities, which are fundamental to the company s production and decarbonisation targets.Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:Commercial: You will be responsible for the creation, negotiation and implementation of commercial plans and contract framework agreements for the Raw Material commodity, constantly investigating new opportunities and solutions as well as innovation.You will obtain, understand and track the economic drivers for cost and volatility in global commodity markets.
