Business Development & Account Manager

Location: North West

Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 DOE + car allowance, commission, phone, laptop, pension and 28 days holiday with the option to buy additional days

I''m recruiting for a Business Development & Account Manager to join a growing team, covering the North West.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who understands the water treatment and hygiene sector, knows how to build long-term client relationships and has the commercial drive to identify and secure new opportunities.

The Role

• Developing new business opportunities across the water treatment and water hygiene sectors.
• Managing and growing an established portfolio of North West accounts.
• Promoting a comprehensive range of water treatment and hygiene services, covering all LCA service standards.
• Identifying opportunities to increase revenue within existing client accounts.
• Building relationships with key decision-makers across a variety of industries.
• Targeting key sectors including healthcare and facilities management.
• Generating new leads through proactive business development, networking, referrals and industry contacts.
• Attending marketing events and industry networking opportunities.
• Taking ownership of your territory and delivering against agreed sales targets.

What We''re Looking For

• A minimum of 5 years'' experience within the water treatment and/or water hygiene industry.
• Evidence of relevant industry training and technical understanding.
• Previous experience in a business development, sales or account management position.
• A proven ability to generate new business and develop existing accounts.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
