This position involves driving a Category C (Class 2) vehicle and assisting in the collection of household and commercial waste and recycling across the local area.You will work as part of a crew, providing an essential service to the community, while ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer care are always upheld.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate refuse collection vehicles in compliance with road safety and council regulationsCarry out routine vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is clean and roadworthyDrive designated routes to collect domestic, commercial, and recycling wasteCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure routes are completed efficientlyReport any issues such as missed collections, blocked access, or vehicle faultsConnect2Dorset is a trading style of Dorset and Kent Commercial Services LLP - A joint venture between Dorset Council and Commercial Services Kent Ltd.
