Planning Officer

Our client, is actively seeking a Planning Officer on a contracted basis. Key Responsibilities:Managing development applications, ensuring compliance with local planning regulations and guidelinesConducting site visits to assess the potential impact of proposed developmentsPreparing and presenting detailed reports on planning applications and policiesProviding professional advice on development management and planning mattersEngaging with stakeholders, including the public, developers, and government agenciesFacilitating public meetings and consultations regarding planning proposalsEnsuring efficient and effective processing of planning applicationsMaintaining accurate and up-to-date records of planning activities and decisionsJob Requirements:Experience in development management within the planning sectorStrong understanding of local planning regulations and policiesExcellent report writing and presentation skillsAbility to conduct thorough site visits and assessmentsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational and time management abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksRelevant degree or equivalent qualification in town planning or a related disciplineBenefits:Contract position for 3-6 monthsChance to gain experience in development management and planningCollaborative work environment with various stakeholdersFlexible working hours with a 35-hour workweekIf you are an experienced Planning Officer looking for a contract opport
