Reporting to the Managing Director and Chairman, this role is envisioned as a stepping stone toward a future opportunity to become Managing Director and position the business for a private equity exit or sale to a Business Service Group.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and expand the Corporate Finance and Commercial teams—focusing on coaching, deal making, mentoring, performance and recruitment where necessary.

Develop and execute business development strategies to generate new mandates and deal flow across core sectors.

Oversee the full transaction lifecycle: valuations, deal structuring, negotiations, due diligence, and closing.

Harness proprietary sector and MandA data to develop insights, create thought leadership, and support client advising.

Deliver financial targets, including revenue growth, EBITDA, and client satisfaction.

Prepare the business for strategic scaling and contribute to exit readiness planning.

Cultivate strong relationships with clients, private equity, and industry stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

Extensive experience in corporate finance or MandA leadership roles.

Demonstrated success in executing mid-market transactions and leading high-performing teams.

Robust network with advisory, PE, and corporate clients.

Strong strategic acumen with the ability to lead business growth and operational excellence.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Ambition to progress into an MD role and experience with PE exit strategy advantageous.
