Salary: £95 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Basildon that is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love for learning.

The school is seeking a Learning Support Assistant on a long-term basis from September 2026. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work on a one-to-one basis with a Year 2 pupil with additional needs, supporting their academic, social and emotional development whilst helping them access the curriculum and engage fully in school life.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children with additional needs

• Previous experience working within a Primary School setting

• Understanding of one-to-one support strategies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
