Plant Operator Water Treatment Plant Operator Wastewater Process Operator Oswestry Contract United Utilities Framework Water Sector Construction Introduction Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Plant Operator to support a project in Oswestry on the United Utilities framework. Working alongside MWH Treatment and the Advance Plus process team, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the performance of a new wastewater treatment plant, ensuring processes operate safely and efficiently. This role would suit a skilled plant operator with experience in the water sector and a strong understanding of process monitoring, equipment performance and safe delivery on construction projects. Record and review process parameters, including MLSS, SSVI, final effluent analysis, sludge thickener performance, sludge levels and chemical usage. Monitor plant equipment, including oxidation ditch inducers, blowers, instruments, ferric and caustic dosing systems, and sludge thickeners.
