Overview We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting aggregates and asphalt materials safely and efficiently to designated locations Out of local Mendip Quarries, predominantly working out of the same quarry. Responsibilities - Drive lorries to transport goods over short or long distances- Load and unload cargo- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns- Communicate with dispatchers and team members- Follow traffic laws and regulations- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the lorry Qualifications - HGV Driving License- Up to date CPC Card- MP Connect card (if expired training can be booked provided you have previous tipper experience)- Good Geographical Knowledge of Southwest England- Previous experience in commercial driving roles- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors- Proficiency in driving a tipper truck- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance is desirableJob Type: Full-timePay: From £150.00 per dayAdditional pay: Bonus scheme Performance bonusBenefits: Free parking On-site parkingSchedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availabilityExperience: HGV driving: 1 year (required)Licence/Certification: Category C Licence (required)Work Location: In ..... full job details .....
