Learning Support Assistant (Key Worker) - SEND Full-time Term-time only BS6 We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (Key Worker) to join our team and play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to children''s learning, development, and wellbeing.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with teachers to provide tailored support that helps children achieve the targets set out in their EHCP/IEP.Deliver evidence-based interventions on a 1:1 or small group basis to support learning and skills development.Support learning in class by adapting and scaffolding work alongside teachers.Assist in the preparation of learning resources, maintenance of accurate records, and monitoring of pupil progress.Provide pastoral and personal care, including support with behaviour, social, and welfare needs, and carrying out specified medical procedures (following training).We are looking for someone who is:Passionate about supporting children with SEND to achieve their potential.Patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with pupils and families.Confident in working both independently and as part of a team.Organised and proactive, with a willingness to adapt to meet individual pupil needs.Experienced in working with children with SEND About Academics Academics is a leading national education recruitment agency, specialising in the provision of permanent, contract, and
