Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to work within Greenwich Councils Children with Disabilities Team.Job PurposeModel reliable effective social work practice that safeguards and promotes the welfare of children in need, including children in complex situations with high levels of need and risk, so that children maintain a reasonable standard of health and development, receive reasonable parenting, and a sense of permanence through secure attachment to their parents or carers.Where a child is disabled take action to minimise the effect of their disabilities and give them the opportunity to lead lives which are as normal as possible.Model effective planning and decision making to secure timely permanence for children who cannot live at home.
