Logistics Operative Location: LeicesterJob Type: Full Time, TemporaryPay Rate: £16.90 per hourHours: 37hrs per week We are recruiting for a skilled Logistics Operative to support City Highways in Leicester with a range of highway maintenance and development activities. This is a hands-on role requiring experience in traffic management and highway operations. You will play a key part in ensuring roadworks and highway projects are carried out safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain traffic management measures on highway projects. Prepare, transport, and install roadwork safety signage and barriers. Support highway maintenance and development activities. Undertake associated construction tasks, including erection of posts, backfilling works, and highway reinstatement Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety requirements. Operate vehicles and equipment as required as part of the role. Essential Requirements Experience implementing and maintaining traffic management measures within a highway environment. Full UK Category B driving licence. Ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment. Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
