Sales Ledger AssistantLocation: Wootton BassettSalary: 32,000Hours: Full-time, office-based, Monday to FridayWe are recruiting for an experienced Sales Ledger Assistant to join a busy finance team. This role would suit someone with a strong background in Sales Ledger who is confident managing sales order processing, invoicing, debtor management and resolving account discrepancies.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess weekly sales orders, invoices and credit notes.Check timesheets and clock cards against hours sold.Match customer purchase orders to invoices.Maintain the Sales Ledger and manage aged debtors.Investigate and resolve customer account discrepancies.Maintain outstanding sales order records.Liaise with customers, the Sales Team and Business Managers.Support the wider finance team with ad hoc duties.About YouAt least 5 years'' experience in Sales Ledger, including sales orders, invoicing and debtor management.Excellent Excel skills are essential, including confidence working with spreadsheets and workbooks.Good knowledge of accounting systems; Exchequer experience is advantageous.Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.Confident communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude.Able to work independently and as part of a team.If you have extensive Sales Ledger experience and excellent Excel skills, we''d love to hear from you.
