Orka Financial is recruiting an FPandA Senior Specialist for an established financial services business in Slough. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for an analyst who enjoys turning detailed commercial and accounting data into useful planning and management information. The role Reporting to the FPandA Manager, you will support the budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting cycle across the UK operation. You will maintain the data and models behind management information, investigate performance movements and help senior stakeholders understand the factors driving results. Key responsibilities • Produce recurring management reports and reporting packs. • Prepare budgets, forecasts, scenario models and ad-hoc plans. • Deliver detailed variance analysis and financial investigations. • Reconcile operational and accounting information with group data. • Support risk-provisioning models and management accruals. • Work with teams across the business to improve planning insight. • Liaise with group colleagues and external auditors on relevant reporting matters. • Provide practical cover across accounting, pricing and treasury when required. What you will bring • Three to four years'' relevant financial or business analysis experience. • Progress towards membership of a professional financial or management accounting body. • Advanced Excel capability and confidence working with reporting systems. • Experience of tools such as SAP, Business Objects or comparable ..... full job details .....
