The Role We are seeking an experienced "Senior Engineer" to support a flagship civil engineering project based in Britain s Ocean City. This is a high-profile opportunity to play a key role in assuring quality standards on a complex, nationally significant infrastructure scheme. The Client and ProjectOur client is a highly respected civil engineering contractor with a strong track record across the marine, water, environmental infrastructure and energy sectors. Renowned for delivering high-quality, technically complex projects, they enjoy a high level of repeat business from both public and private sector clients. The Role and Responsibilities Working across multiple civil engineering sections of work, the successful "Senior Engineer" will be site based, providing a valuable link between the site based teams and the office based quality and project management teams. You will be checking all the engineering works on site to ensure compliance and safety. Key responsibilities will include: Material Verification: Checking certificates against specifications. Placement Inspection: Ensuring rebar is correctly positioned, spaced, aligned, and has proper concrete cover as per drawings.
