Multi-Skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer

Salary: Competitive + Welcome Bonus + Bonus Scheme Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off, rotating days and nights (overtime available) Commutable from: Boston, Skegness, Spalding, Sleaford, Louth

Our client is a well-established, family-owned FMCG manufacturing business based near Boston, Lincolnshire. Following a significant multi-million-pound investment in their site and equipment, they''re looking to add an experienced Multi-Skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer to their engineering team.

The Role

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of machinery, including conveying systems, product detection equipment, packaging lines, extruders and mixers, gas-fired ovens, mill equipment, and steam boilers with associated pipework and valves
Diagnose and troubleshoot breakdowns, minimising downtime and ensuring quick resolution
Work collaboratively with production teams to optimise equipment performance
Contribute to ongoing improvement projects as part of ongoing investment in the facility
Maintain accurate maintenance records via a CMMS system and ensure compliance with health & safety standards

What We''re Looking For

A recognised engineering qualification, with multi-skilled experience across both electrical and mechanical maintenance
Experience with conveying systems, product detection, and packaging machinery, ideally within an FMCG environment
A collaborative, team-focused approach suited to a shift-based environment
Willingness to work a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern (days and nights)
A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
