In-House Tax and Estates Accountant Full-Time or Part-Time Salary: £30,000 - £40,000Location: Sutton The Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax and Estates Accountant to join a well-established and highly respected private client team. This role offers the chance to work closely with professionals on a broad range of trust, estate, probate and personal tax matters, providing specialist accounting and tax support to private individuals, trustees and executors. This position would suit someone who enjoys a varied workload, values client service, and is looking to develop their expertise within trusts, estates and inheritance tax. Key Responsibilities Preparing and submitting Self Assessment tax returns Preparing trust and estate tax returns, including R185s and IHT100s Producing estate and trust accounts Liaising directly with HMRC on behalf of clients Monitoring deadlines and ensuring all submissions are completed on time Supporting probate and trust administration matters Assisting with inheritance tax calculations and reporting requirements Working closely with colleagues to provide technical tax and accounting support Skills and Experience Experience in personal tax compliance Strong understanding of HMRC processes and correspondence Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Collaborative approach and ..... full job details .....
