Proactive Personnel are recruiting for a Facilities Technician with a plumbing and mechanical background on behalf of our client based in Telford. The successful candidate will provide technical and hands-on maintenance support across our facilities in Telford, ensuring that all building infrastructure, services and equipment are maintained to a high standard. Hours 8.30am - 5pm You will play an important role in ensuring a safe, compliant and well-maintained working environment, responding to maintenance requests, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and supporting installation and improvement projects. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring someone who can work independently, demonstrate a proactive approach and respond effectively to maintenance issues to minimise disruption to the business. Key Responsibilities Provide a high standard of general facilities maintenance across multiple sites. Carry out plumbing and mechanical repairs, installations and modifications to building services. Maintain and repair building fabric and infrastructure. Maintain, inspect and repair fire protection systems, including sprinklers. Respond to reactive maintenance requests, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across both facilities.
