Accounts Assistant - 12 MONTHS FTC to PermanentLocation: West SussexHours: Full-timeContract: 12 month FTC to permanentAn established and growing organisation is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join its busy and friendly finance team. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to gain exposure across a broad range of accounting activities, with the potential to secure a permanent position at the end of the 12 month FTC and develop a long-term career within the business.Working closely with the wider finance and operations teams, the successful candidate will be involved in day-to-day accounts administration, supplier and customer queries, reconciliations and credit control support.Key responsibilities will include:Processing purchase and sales invoices in UK and overseas currenciesBank and company credit card reconciliationsProcessing employee expenses and supplier paymentsPreparing remittances and dealing with supplier queriesInvestigating and resolving account discrepanciesMaintaining accurate customer and supplier recordsAssisting with customer invoicing and international paymentsSupporting credit control activity, including reviewing aged debt and overdue accountsLiaising with customers and suppliers regarding account queries and paymentsAssisting with quarterly VAT returnsSupporting month-end and year-end processesAssisting with financial reporting, budgets and forecastsProviding general support to the wider finance teamThe ideal candidate will have:Previous ..... full job details .....
