Head of Client Accounts - Property (Residential / Lettings) - OUR CLIENT is a dynamic residential property firm operating across sought-after areas of South West London, known for its personalised service and strong local expertise. The Client now is seeking an experienced Head of Client Accounts to lead the Client Accounts function, ensuring client funds are managed accurately, securely and in line with regulatory requirements. Working closely with Directors and senior stakeholders, you will oversee financial operations, resolve complex issues and drive improvements across systems, reporting and controls.

Key Responsibilities for Head of Client Accounts role will require to:

• Lead client accounting operations, including client money transactions, reconciliations, payments, commissions, fees and month-end reporting.
• Own client money controls, compliance, financial risk management and audit readiness.
• Oversee banking, payment approvals, accounts payable and payroll-related payments.
• Lead the Client Accounts team, providing technical guidance, coaching and performance management.
• Improve financial systems, reporting and processes across property systems, Xero and other platforms, working closely with senior stakeholders.

About You

As a Head of Client Accounts, you will bring:

• Significant experience in residential property / client accounts.
• Will have experience using a lettings property system such as Alto, Reapit, Jupix or similar.
• Experience leading or supervising a client accounting team.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to manage competing priorities and challenge where necessary.
