We''re currently looking for an experienced Groundworker to join our team covering Leeds and Wakefield.About the RoleAs a Groundworker, you''ll be responsible for delivering a wide range of external repairs and maintenance works within a social housing environment. Working across multiple properties and projects, you''ll undertake groundworks activities including drainage, concreting, paving, kerbing, resurfacing, trench excavation, foundation preparation, and minor external repairs. You''ll also be responsible for monitoring external areas, identifying defects, and carrying out repair works to ensure properties and surrounding environments remain safe and well maintained. There will also be some grounds maintenance works expected from time to time.The role involves operating and maintaining a variety of tools, machinery, and ground maintenance equipment, ensuring all materials, plant, and equipment are available before work begins. You''ll use a mobile device to receive and complete work orders, record completed works, and capture site photographs.
