Our client, a specialist provider of geotechnical, geo-environmental and ground investigation services, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer with a geology background to join its permanent team in Hungerford. This is a full-time, site-based role supporting ground investigation projects across the UK.Key Responsibilities:Undertaking site investigation and ground investigation activities in accordance with project specificationsSupporting the delivery of geotechnical and geo-environmental site works across a range of sectorsOperating and assisting with site investigation equipment safely and effectivelyRecording accurate site information and monitoring ground conditions during investigationsWorking closely with senior engineers, project teams, clients and subcontractors on siteFollowing all health, safety, environmental and quality proceduresMaintaining high standards of workmanship and supporting efficient project deliveryWorking away from home when required to support UK-wide projectsJob Requirements:Experience in site investigation contracting is essentialKnowledge of geology, ground conditions and geotechnical investigation techniquesExperience working in a practical, site-based engineering or ground investigation environmentAbility to use site investigation equipment and follow technical instructionsUnderstanding of health and safety requirements on active construction and investigation sitesStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a ..... full job details .....
