Job Title: CNC Turner – Precision Engineering
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary: £37,570 per annum (based on 2-shift pattern)
Contract: Full-time, permanent

From setting up the job to signing it off, you’ll be trusted to take ownership of your work and know that what you’re making is being used in something important.

We’re supporting a well-established international manufacturer that continues to invest in its people, processes and production capabilities. As part of their growing team in Sheffield, you’ll be based in a clean, well-organised workshop, surrounded by people who know what they’re doing and take pride in getting things right.

This is a permanent role, working on a two-shift pattern, with structure, support and long-term backing. Whether you’re looking for more stability or just want to be part of a company where things are run properly, it’s a move worth considering.

What you’ll be doing:

• Set up, load and operate CNC turning machines
• Produce parts to exact specification, working from drawings and technical documentation
• Use manual and CMM inspection tools to verify accuracy
• Keep your work area clean, safe and well organised
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain high standards of quality and output

What you’ll need:

• Previous experience in a CNC Turning role, ideally within aerospace, automotive or similar high-spec engineering working to tight tolerance and exotic metals
• Confident reading and working from technical drawings
• Skilled with Verniers, Micrometers, Gauges and other inspection tools
• Either apprenticeship-trained or with solid industry experience
• A reliable, hands-on approach and strong team focus

Nice to have:

• Experience using CMM inspection equipment
