Full job description Multi Skilled Operative - Waste Management Location: Rotherham, S63 Salary: 31,324 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday (Rotating Days and Nights) Days: 05:30 - 14:30 Nights: 14:00 - 23:00 Overtime: Available Start Date: Immediate starts preferred About the Role We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Operative to join a busy waste management and recycling facility in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established operation, supporting the safe processing, movement and loading of recyclable materials while helping maintain efficient site performance. Key Responsibilities Operate site machinery and equipment safely. Process, move and load waste and recyclable materials. Carry out daily equipment checks and report defects. Maintain high housekeeping standards and clear spillages. Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures. Work effectively as part of a team to support site operations. Essential Requirements Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Operative in waste, recycling, manufacturing, construction or a similar environment. Experience operating mobile plant or site machinery. Strong understanding of health and safety procedures. Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious approach. Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
