Significant experience of infrastructure project management and/or programme management across the project lifecycle, including project management principles, delivering to client objectives, contract management, leadership and teamwork, financial management and project controls, health, safety, quality and environmental managementLead and develop project teams; manage several work streams simultaneously; communicate effectively with senior client representativesBuild and maintain long-term trusted advisor relationships with clients; manage stakeholder expectations across diverse personalitiesDemonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical and numerical skills; translate complex problems into workable delivery solutionsDrive and commitment to achieving solutions; work under pressure and motivate othersQualifications

Degree or HND in a management, construction or infrastructure-related subject, or equivalent experienceProfessional affiliation or near-qualified status with APM, ICE, ITP, or similarProject management certification (APM/PRINCE2/MSP); NEC PM Accreditation or qualificationsBeneficial Experience

Experience of procurement and managing NEC contractsExperience of managing contractors, consultants and other advisors on infrastructure projectsExperience of consultancy or client-side project managementFamiliarity with public sector organisations, non-departmental or arm’s length bodies relevant to infrastructureAdditional Information
