Senior Surveyor - Plant and Equipment ValuationRole overview: Role based in the London office within the Reinstatement Cost Assessment (RCA) team, part of the Building Consultancy department. The Senior Surveyor will work on RICS-compliant financial valuation assignments, interact with RCA colleagues on insurance-related casework, and travel across the UK and internationally as required. The role includes business development responsibilities with a focus on generating revenue and promoting growth for the business unit.
Key Responsibilities
Data analyst experience of plant and equipment valuations for financial purposes, adopting asset modelling methodologies.
Collaborate with CBRE valuation teams across the UK, EMEA and globally on financial valuation assignments.
Engage with RCA team colleagues on insurance-related casework and departmental issues.
Prepare bidding/marketing material, proposals and valuation reports, and deliver presentations to clients and internally.
Support business development activities and contribute to growth initiatives for the business unit.
Person Specification
Minimum 2-5 years of conventional plant and equipment valuation experience (insurance, financial reporting, loan security and market valuation assignments).
RICS qualification is essential, although candidates currently working towards qualification will be considered.
Studying for RICS qualification is essential; progress toward qualification is acceptable.
Other qualifications in business, finance, accounting, or economics are of interest but optional.
Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally as required.
