The Opportunity An established and growing Suffolk-based business is looking for a proactive Management Accountant to join their finance team on a fixed-term contract until April.

This is a varied role that combines core financial reporting with commercial partnering, giving you the opportunity to influence decision-making, improve business performance and contribute to ongoing finance transformation initiatives.

Working closely with the Finance Director and wider management team, you''ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial information while identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and supporting analysis
• Deliver weekly and monthly financial reporting to senior stakeholders
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning
• Develop KPI reporting and provide commercial insight
• Partner with operational teams to improve business performance
• Identify and implement process and systems improvements
• Assist with year-end audit requirements and compliance activities

About You You''ll ideally have:

• AAT qualification, Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA, or be Qualified by Experience
• Proven management accounts experience
• Strong Excel and finance systems knowledge
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• A hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement
• The confidence to engage with stakeholders across the business

Experience with finance transformation, system implementation, or process improvement projects would be advantageous.
