Site Engineer Large Industrial Unit (£80m Project) Location: Gloucester Duration: 12 Month Contract Rate: £350 £400 per day We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major £80 million industrial unit development in Gloucester on a long-term contract basis. This is a key role working on a large-scale industrial scheme, providing engineering support across all phases of construction including groundworks, steel frame installation, and external works delivery. Project Overview: £80m new-build industrial unit Full groundworks package Large steel frame superstructure Extensive external works and yard slabs Fast-paced, high-value commercial build Key Responsibilities: Setting out for all site elements including drainage, foundations, steel frame bases, and external works Supporting steel frame erection including bolt position checks and gridline control QA/QC inspections and maintaining accurate site records Working closely with site management and subcontractors to ensure programme delivery Reviewing drawings, resolving site queries, and raising RFIs where required Ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately, and in line with specifications Supporting coordination between groundworks, steel erection, and finishing packages Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Engineer on large commercial or industrial projects Strong background in groundworks and structural steel frame delivery Confident in setting out using total station equipment CSCS card req
