Due to continued success, they are looking to recruit a Fleet Controller.Your new role Plan and coordinate routine maintenance schedules for specialised plant and container handling machinery, ensuring timely servicing to prevent breakdowns and maximise equipment uptime.Manage and prioritise repairs and breakdowns, assigning tasks to service providers based on urgency and availability, and ensuring repairs are completed promptly and to a high standard.Monitor and manage cost, ensuring that invoices are in line with estimates for repairs.Act as the main point of contact between terminals, engineers, and management, providing clear and concise updates on equipment status, repair progress, and any potential issues.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including engineer time, and equipment downtime.Ensure all service activities are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.Produce reports on equipment performance, service schedules, and repair outcomes, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
