This Service Engineer role is suited to someone who has experience in similar engineering roles who is used to lone/remote working in the Devon and Cornwall area.The candidate must have proven maintenance experience with electromechanical systems, have a strong analytical and problem-solving ability along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. They must be thorough with a good eye for detail, flexible, and use to a varied working day.Good organisational skills are essential, as you will manage your weekly calendar. Skills: Electrical, mechanical, and Plumbing experience.Minimum qualifications: IET Wiring Regulation, BS 7671, 18th Addition.Responsibilities include:Maintain, repair, and if necessary, replace the Company''s products.Site based commissioning work.Respond to planned maintenance through Service Contracts.Attend breakdowns and action in a timely manner.Non-contract works as required by Wallgate.View and manage your working calendar.Production of Engineers report following worksCovering other zones in the UK outside of Devon and Cornwall when requiredManage your tools and equipment.Maintain adequate stock of spares on your works van-Care and maintenance of the company''s vehicle, ensuring service intervals are adhered to. Carryout weekly vehicle inspection as detailed in the vehicle maintenance schedule.Attend the Company''s premises to assist with other work or assembly production from time to time.Overnight stays when required.
