Whilst the role is heavily focused on imports (approximately 90% of the workload), there will also be the opportunity to become involved in export operations, with full training provided where required. What you''ll do: Managing import shipments from quotation through to final delivery and billing.Liaising with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines and transport providers.Providing quotations and ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the shipment process.Arranging customs documentation and coordinating import movements.Monitoring shipments and providing regular updates to clients.Assisting with export shipments as required.Ensuring all operational files are completed accurately and in line with company procedures.Maintaining strong working relationships with both customers and suppliers.
