Gas Engineer - London W10 Kensal Ave Purpose of the Role To deliver a professional, efficient, and compliant gas servicing, repair, and installation service across residential properties, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Gas Safe regulations and current Building Regulations. Providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of workmanship are central to the role. Key Responsibilities Carry out gas servicing, repairs, and installations efficiently and effectively, ensuring all work complies with current legislation, regulations, and company procedures. Diagnose faults accurately and complete repairs to a high standard, aiming for a first-time fix wherever possible. Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, keeping all relevant parties informed of work progress and any required actions. Escalate complex technical issues to senior team members where necessary to ensure appropriate resolutions. Order and manage materials cost-effectively, keeping customers updated on the progress of any parts required. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation, regulations, and industry best practice relating to gas and heating systems. Provide technical advice, support, and guidance to colleagues and other trades when required. Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota and attend emergency situations as required.
