Mechanical EngineerCroydon - South London / Surrey Area£52,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits PackageI''m currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing business operating within the transport and industrial sectors.This is a hands-on engineering role supporting overhaul, maintenance, investigation, and continuous improvement activities across a range of complex mechanical products and systems.The RoleKey responsibilities include:Providing practical engineering support across production, projects, quality, and operations.Conducting condition assessments, fault diagnosis, root cause investigations, and warranty reviews.Producing technical reports, method statements, test procedures, and overhaul instructions.Managing engineering changes, concessions, and technical documentation.Supporting overhaul and refurbishment projects from planning through to completion.Working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues.Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practice.About YouThe ideal candidate will have:HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.At least 6 years'' engineering experience within manufacturing, maintenance, overhaul, industrial, transport, power generation, oil and gas, marine, rail, or similar sectors.Strong hands-on engineering and problem-solving capability.Experience writing technical procedures, ..... full job details .....
