A good Care Assistant is a compassionate, supportive and well-rounded individual. Maintaining reliability and organisation is also vital. We are looking for competent care assistants to support physically and/or mentally challenged service users in their everyday lives, enabling their independence as far as is possible. The support required takes into account the varying needs of people including those recovering from an operation or illness, with mild to severe learning disabilities, mental health difficulties, sensory impairments, dysphagia, epilepsy, and the beginnings of age-related conditions, particularly dementia.
