It focuses on working with colleagues and communities to help them identify, and then deliver on, local priorities, aspirations, and needs.This is a well-rounded post, which involves working with internal teams across the Council and external stakeholders to keep them engaged in delivering Neighbourhood Infrastructure Levy funding across Wandsworth Borough. The post holder will need to build meaningful relationships, be empathetic, think strategically about community solutions, and be outcomes-focused and results-driven. We aim to bring all the right people together to make positive changes a reality. This is a fixed-term contract or internal secondment until May 2027.About the roleThe aims and objectives of the post holder are:Build meaningful relationships with internal teams and external agencies to support project delivery across Wandsworth Borough, aligning their work priorities with the NCIL programme and community feedback.Support project management and administration of the NCIL programme, ensuring stakeholder engagement.Promote the Leader''s Community Drop-in programmes, especially to underrepresented groups, facilitating community engagement with the Council and elected members.Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver place-based projects and support community engagement initiatives.Assist the Community Funding Manager in managing the wider programme, including liaising with internal teams on community ideas, communication messaging, and administrative tasks.Work with various stakeholders to deliver NCIL-funded projects, addressing potential challenges and unblockages.Project manage, plan, deliver, monitor, and evaluate NCIL-funded projects, producing reports and documentation.Ensure projects have clear delivery plans and are completed on time and within budget.Escalate risks or issues to the Community Funding Manager and chair meetings to track progress.Essential Qualifications, Skills and ExperienceKnowledge of local government structures and the role of ward Councillors.Project management experience.Understanding of NCIL and/or community investment programmes or similar.Experience in managing and building strong relationships.Proven ability to manage and deliver projects effectively.Closing Date:
